Nunthorpe School - Opt4
Opt4 is Nunthorpe School's enrichment program. It operates every Wednesday afternoon and is run by teachers, support staff and some people from outside of school. The options run for a cycle of 6 weeks in most cases, with some courses running for 12 weeks, or even for the full 36 weeks (in the case of the School Production).
This represents an exciting opportunity for students to acquire new skills and learn in an informal environment whilst building positive relationships with each other and with staff. This has a positive effect on staff and student relationships during the more standard curricular time. Opt4 continues to develop and evolve and this year we have been able to give 90% of students at least 5 of the 6 options they chose. Have a look at Opt4 in the gallery.
