The School
- Nunthorpe is a very popular Foundation co-educational 11 – 19 comprehensive school with approximately 1550 students on roll;
- We are on the southern edge of the Teesside conurbation in a comfortable residential area close to the North Yorkshire Moors. We are within driving distance of Durham, York and Newcastle;
- In the Summer of 2011 we gained record GCSE results for the school (72% including English and Mathematics; and 90% 5 x A* – C). We also gained 100% A* – E at A2 and 95% A* – E at AS;
- We are a Specialist Science, Business and Enterprise School;

The Candidate
- We require an energetic, inspirational and talented teacher with experience of teaching across a wide subject range from either the Primary or Secondary sector;
- The successful candidate will have an ability to demonstrate effective differentiation for a variety of SEND/AEN students;
- The ideal person will have experience of working with children with emotional / behavioural needs;
- Commitment, passion for learning and willingness to be part of an already high achieving team are essential qualities.
