"Learning to Create a Better Future Today"
This page contains information about School Uniform Requirements.
Uniform Requirements
The school uniform has been selected with a number of factors in mind.
Quality - the business jacket is a high quality, washable
garment. It has the added feature of a variety of pockets that will present
their usefulness to students within a few hours of wearing - not least of
which is the mobile phone pocket!
Modesty - the trousers are prescribed for both boys and girls in
order that we can remove the variety in "fashion" especially amongst the
ladies. Students are expected to have trousers that can facilitate a shirt
tucking into them and a shirt that is not fitted, has a top button and tucks
into the trousers.
Image - it is important to us that not only are our students
friendly, polite, pleasant young adults, but that they are also perceived
as such in the community. We believe that the image of a school and its
students can be strongly enhanced by the uniform they wear. Thus, we also insist that socks are both plain and either black or white in colour; and that tights are plain and black.
