Following on from 'Global Mental Health Day' last week, students have been exploring ways to support one another through difficult moments or events this week in tutor time.
This has been supported through our assembly program, which had not just one, but three presenters this week.
On Monday and Tuesday, Y10 and Y11 were spoken to by Mr. Purcifer on the importance of revision, positive mental health and mock examinations. KS3 were invited to join 'Headstarters' and introduced to the 'Good Life Schools' project by Mrs. Hewison & Miss. Dixon.
A lottery funded project, we're excited to invite students to be a part of making a sustainable project at the academy, one with longevity for future generations of staff and students to come.
If you would like to be a part of the group, please speak to either member of staff in person, or through their email address.
More information on the project is available at www.globalactionplan.org.uk/generation-action/good-life-schools
