We cannot believe that it’s already been a week since we welcomed parents, carers and perspective students into our academy for open evening!
Having the opportunity to see what Nunthorpe is about is vital to us all at the academy. Visitors were offered personalised student tours, a chance to speak with subject teachers as well as heads of department alongside an array of lessons from our broad and balanced curriculum!
There were tasty treats on offer in Food Technology, animal inspired head wear in Geography and musical rehearsals going ahead in Drama & Music. We hope that all 400+ members of our local community enjoyed seeing our new ethos, ‘thriving together’ in action; our students and staff working in partnership with parents and carers by being ‘ready, respectful and safe’.
