Art Studios
The Art Department has 4 open plan rooms. All rooms are busy areas with lots of projects in progress which cover a range of artistic specialisms.
Students are able to work in a huge assortment of mediums including different types of paints, dry media and 3D sculpture using a range of materials.
We have a kiln for firing clay work, an ICT room with laptops and an interactive whiteboard. There is a space for sixth form students to use and a foyer which is used to display current work and information e.g. competitions.
Art also caters for students outside of academy times and ‘Master classes’ run on a regular basis allowing students to access other skills and techniques which they do not cover in lessons.
