We are pleased to share that Nunthorpe has raised over £200 for the Teddington Trust Fund which support children and families who have the condition XP (Xeroderma Pigmentosum). Three member of staff completed the Middlesbrough 10km (Mrs Shaw had to pull out due to injury). The staff also held a Bacon Butty shop on their PD Day last Monday. The money raised will go towards the family camps organised by Teddington Trust so families can come together to show each other support. Our own student Leo has this condition and we would like to continue to raise awareness of XP and so people in the community understand why he has to wear his protective clothing.
