Due to the current Risk Assessment in place in response to Department For Education guidance these facilities are not currently available for any external bookings but only for academy students in their year group bubbles

There are three music rooms on the campus. In the main school, MU1 is equipped with fourteen keyboards, an electric drum kit, a Yamaha Clavinova and a data projector and white board. MU2 is equipped with PCs and laptops running specialist music software, tuned percussion and is also used as rehearsal space for the Academy Orchestra. Both classrooms have a trolley of untuned percussion instruments. In addition, there are four practice rooms which are mainly used by peripatetic staff to deliver instrumental lessons. All practice rooms are equipped with electric pianos. In the sixth form, there is a suite of iMac computers, running Cubase Essentials sequencing software, Sibelius 5 notation software, MIDI enabled keyboards and M-Audio audio interfaces. There is a Yamaha upright piano and the latest collection of Grove’s musical dictionary.
