Holly, one of our Y9 students has recently been part of the u14 Grangetown Squad which has placed 5th at the Club National Finals. This is the Blue Riband competition run by England Netball which pits the 18 best Clubs in the country against each other. Each club has a gruelling season-long regional league from which only the top 2 from each region across the country get to compete in the National finals. This is the most elite level of Netball competition for this age group and given that even qualifying to take part is incredibly difficult, the fact they came 5th overall is simply amazing. This is the highest placed finish for Grangetown Netball Club in its history across any age group and is something we are incredibly proud of.
