Empowering Parents – the Delights and the Perils of Teenage Social Networking!
An increasing number of parents have approached us in recent months seeking information, help and support as they become more familiar with internet based social networking sites. These sites are an everyday feature of most adolescent lives in our technology rich 21st century world – made all the more possible by handheld portable devices (web-enabled smart phones etc.) so that sitting at a computer terminal to access the sites is no longer necessary.
It is perhaps obvious to state that a significant number of our parents are concerned about the potential dangers of social networking for their sons and daughters.
