This year GCSE Geography students spent the day in Redcar to carry out two different enquiries in the morning and afternoon. Due to the tides we spent the morning in the town investigating the different stages of regeneration that has been going on and getting public opinion on whether it has been successful. On the afternoon we spent time on the beach investigating whether the groynes were effective and attempted to work out the direction of longshore drift – unfortunately for us the wind had different ideas and did not give us the answers we wanted! But the good weather and a refreshing lemon top made up for it! 🍦
Thank you to Team Geography for making each day happen and we hope students enjoyed themselves! 🌍
