The Big Big Project!

Six of our Year 9 students, Hamza, James, Mia, Evelyn, Ryan and Leo, took part in the Big Big Project this year. They have been working alongside a business mentor, to research and present an idea to answer the question on how to make Teesside Net Zero.

They have put in many hours of hard work outside of school over the past few months to develop their ideas. They have worked amazingly well as a team and capably dealt with the stress of presenting information on Teams to a panel of judges and then answering some difficult questions at the end! Mr. Greaves and myself are extremely proud of their achievement.

They have gained a whole range of useful skills that they will be able to take with them in their education. Nunthorpe team made it to the semi final and today we went to watch the final and the students received a well deserved silver Industrial Cadets award for their participation in the project.
