Key workers have now been defined by the Government. Therefore, those parents/carers who this applies to must email email@example.com to inform us of the days that we are to expect your child on site. Ideally, this email needs to be sent to this address by 12 noon each Friday with the following information.
Parents whose work is critical to the COVID-19 response include those who work in health and social care and in other key sectors outlined below. Many parents working in these sectors may be able to ensure their child is kept at home. And every child who can be safely cared for at home should be.
Following the Government's announcement yesterday, Nunthorpe Academy will be closed to all students from Monday 23 March 2020 until further notice.
The VCERT Business exam is scheduled to take place at 9am on Friday 20th March 2020. Any student who is self-isolating due to COVID-19 will be withdrawn from the exam.
Due to the number of staff absent from the academy, I have made the decision that from tomorrow it will be necessary to partially close the academy.
Please can we make everyone aware that the following academy events have been cancelled in line with current Government advice.
